Gas furnace or heat pump for the Coast?

Coast winters are mild enough that heat pumps make strong economic sense. Modern cold-climate heat pumps hold efficiency down to 20°F, well below what we see here. If you already have gas and it's cheap in your area, high-efficiency gas is fine. If electric only, heat pump wins.

How long does install take?

One day for standard replacements. Two days if we're adding ductwork or converting fuel type.

Do you handle the permit?

Yes. We pull permits with the city or county, schedule the inspection, and handle it. You never call the city.

What warranty do I get?

10-year manufacturer parts warranty (we register at install) plus 1-year labor warranty from Keith's.
